Gulabin Lodge Terms and Conditions

1. Booking confirmation and payment;

(a) In order to secure booking please forward a non refundable deposit of 10% of the accommodation rental price.

(b) We will then send you written confirmation of the booking to establish a binding contract.

(c) 50% of the holiday price (including any sporting or extra activities booked on your behalf) must be paid no later than eight weeks prior to arrival. If not, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled by you and to levy cancellation charges as set out below.

(d) Payment can be made by cheque to Gulabin Lodge, credit card or by direct bank to bank transfer; (details on request). Payment must be in £ sterling and bank charges arising from the transfer of any funds will be payable by the Customer.

(e) The remainder of the invoice must be paid in full within 1 week of arrival. All extras incurred during your stay must be settled on departure.

2. Cancellations and Alterations;

(a) Cancellations must be in writing and will be effective from the date of receipt by us.

More than 56 days (8 weeks) written notice of cancellation; Deposit only
29-56 days (4-8 weeks) written notice of cancellation; 50% of cost
15-28 days (2-4 weeks) written notice of cancellation; 75% of cost
Less than 14 days written notice; 100% of cost.

(b) If, after we have confirmed a booking, you request a change in dates or contents of itinerary, we will endeavour to do our best to meet your revised requirements and reserve the right to charge an alteration fee, subject to a maximum of 5% of the holiday price.

(c) Your custom and enjoyment of Gulabin Lodge are important to us. Once your booking has been confirmed we will make every effort to provide you with the booked holiday arrangements but reserve the right to alter or cancel the whole or part of the let if unavoidable. Reasons would include extreme adverse local weather conditions, natural disasters, civil strikes or war, terrorist activity, fire and similar. We recommend that clients insure against cancellation of sporting events due to inclement weather.

3. Prices;

(a) The booking price includes the cost of all accommodation, food, and if previously agreed any activities.

(b) Not included in the booking price is travel insurance, transportation, non scheduled activities.

4. Responsibilities;

(a) We are not responsible for any loss, death or injury that is attributable to your acts of omission, or the acts or omissions of third parties not involved in providing the services which make up your holiday.

5. Your Responsibilities;

(a) It is your responsibility that passports, visas, and other necessary travel documents are in order.

(b) The Customer is responsible for the conduct of all members of the party, including children, ensuring that they act with reasonable behaviour whilst on holiday. The Customer is considered to be the person signing this agreement and as such is responsible for damage caused by members of the party and will be expected to make good any damage or loss.

Notes:

Entry on day of arrival between 5pm and 7.30pm. unless pre-arranged otherwise. On day of departure occupants are expected to vacate the bunkhouse by 12 noon, unless pre-arranged to do otherwise.
We operate a no smoking policy within the Lodge.
Dogs are allowed free with prior notification.
