Regardless of why you are here...
...Gulabin Lodge is here for you
Gulabin Lodge is a family run hostel providing Self Catering accommodation, B&B and activity breaks for individuals, families and groups. The lodge is situated in the Spittal of Glenshee at the foot of Ben Gulabin, (2843 feet) in its own grounds of approx. 1.5 acres. With stunning views of the local Glenshee mountains it is an ideal location for group and family gatherings, outdoor activity weekends/breaks, stag and hen parties, accommodation for the Cateran Trail and corporate activities.
For the outdoor enthusiast, we have access to the Southern Cairngorms from our back door; for the walker, many Munros are easily accessible from the lodge; for kayakers/canoeists there is an abundance of challenging rivers to explore all year round, and for the skier, the lodge is the closest accommodation to the Glenshee ski slopes. Gulabin Lodge is a great base for any adventure.

Our Location
Gulabin Lodge is situated in the heart of the historic Glenshee Mountains in the Southern area of the Cairngorms National Park at the Spittal of Glenshee. Situated near the main A93 between Braemar and Blairgowrie, it is ideally located to visit many of the local attractions such as Balmoral, Braemar and Glamis Castles, to name but a few.
Gulabin Lodge
The lodge was built in 1846 and was originally a manse to the local church. It has been tastefully upgraded over recent years, but with its original charm retained, it’s a wonderful place to relax and unwind. To compliment your stay why not try some of the many outdoor activities available, both on site and local.
The Facilities
The lodge is equipped with underfloor heating throughout and nine individual bedrooms. It has a large well-equipped, self catering kitchen, two cosy and attractive lounges, both with cheerful log fires, a large dining room and there are tea/coffee making facilities available all day.
